HP 1950 Switch
The HP 1950 Gigabit switch line brings easy and affordable high-speed internet services to your office, with room to grow thanks to their true stacking capabilities. You have your choice of either 24 or 48 port gigabit switch models, with or without PoE+ support up to 370W. Each comes with two SFP+ and two 10GbE uplinks for superior connections to network backbones or distributed storage.
Up to four HP switches in the HP 1950 series can be quickly and easily stacked. Standard Cat-5e, DAC, or long-distance fiber stacking options are available for both on-site and off-side coordinated switching.
The 1950 HP switch is friendly towards organizations with minimal onsite IT expertise, featuring a simple and secure web-based GUI that allows complete administration from a single console. Web management is protected by HTTPS/SSL, while the entire network is covered by both 802.1X and RADIUS logins. This HP switch allows for plug-and-play device setup in many circumstances.
These HP 1950 Gigabit Ethernet switch choices include Layer 2 and Layer 3 static routing, with full support for both IPv4 and IPv6 protocols, and VLAN support. Link Aggregation and multiple Spanning Tree Protocol options make the system more efficient and resilient.
You also receive HP's limited lifetime warranty, and three years of telephone support.
The 1950 line of HP switches can deliver Gigabit speeds to virtually any office, while remaining both simple and secure in operation. Read on for product details on specific models, or contact Hummingbird Networks for a free consultation on HP switch networking.
