Today is the day to let our geek flags fly. Happy Geek Pride Day to all of our fellow geeks! While everyday is Geek Pride Day for us, May 25th is recognized as the day to celebrate geeks everywhere  for three reasons:

• Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope was originally released on May 25, 1977
• It's Towel Day, to honor The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy author Douglas Adams, in which fans carry a towel
•   It also marks The Glorious 25th of May, when fans of author Terry Pratchett's Discworld books wear lilac to raise awareness for Alzheimers.
