Aruba Policy Enforcement Firewall is a security solution that enables you to access, manage and share your content across multiple devices. The firewall allows you to create policies for your users so that they can only access websites that you allow. This ensures that users do not access inappropriate or harmful content.

The Aruba Policy Enforcement Firewall also enables you to block access to certain websites, while still allowing other sites through. For example, if you have an employee who needs access to the company website but not Facebook, you can set up a rule where Facebook will be blocked but other sites will remain accessible. This makes it easier for employees to work without distractions from social media sites or other inappropriate content.

APF provides an easy way for you to create policies for your users that are automatically enforced when they access the Internet. APF can be used in conjunction with a software firewall or as a standalone solution. While APF is designed to work with Aruba wireless access points, it also works with any other firewall or router.

The benefits of using APF include:

- Provides a simple way for you to create policies for your users that are automatically enforced when they access the Internet.

- Provides a simple way to create policies based on user groups and location (wireless SSID).

- Provides visibility into all traffic going through all ports on all devices so you can see exactly what's happening with each user at any given time.

By enabling organizations to implement Zero Trust role-based access control, the Aruba Policy Enforcement Firewall has been designated “Cyber Catalystsm” by Marsh, based on its ability to effectively reduce risk. Next-generation role-based user, device, and application policy enforcement firewall (PEF) provides automated Dynamic Segmentation for wireless and wired access security in any Aruba environment.
