Designed for larger organizations that need to specifically shape the WiFi environment around their building, campus, or other locations, the ADTRAN Bluesocket 3045 is one of the most flexible 802.11ac Wave 2 Access Points on the market today.
Unlike its internal antenna companion AP, the 3040, the Bluesocket 3045 is focused around its eight external antenna connectors - four for 5ghz radios, and four for 2.4ghz. This allows its broadcast and reception to be customized to an unparalleled degree, whether broadcasting around internal obstacles or ensuring signals are confined to certain geographical areas.
When fully set up, the ADTRAN Bluesocket 3045 offers 4x4:4 MU-MIMO support, allowing for up to four simultaneous spatial streams. Built-in internal radios monitor the local RF environment, further tweaking and optimizing broadcasts for best connectivity while also monitoring for unauthorized intrusions. An internal Bluetooth radio allows for beacon support and similar low-power applications. The antennas themselves are boosted for maximum reception, perfect for environments with many Internet-of-Things appliances with low broadcast strength.
As with all ADTRAN Bluesocket products, setup is simple. Devices auto-configure based on shared cloud settings, and all configuration is handled through the easy-to-use dashboard system.
