Our Cat5e bulk cable is designed to meet all of your voice, data, video and other bandwidth needs. All of our Cat 5e cables are tested up to 350 MHz and are ideal for use with 10/100Base-T and 1000Base-T gigabit Ethernet network installations.

Shielded (STP) vs. Unshielded (UTP)
While Cat 5 cables are most commonly installed with unshielded twisted pairs (UTP), environments that are prone to Electromagnetic and Radio Frequency Interference (EMI/RFI) should go with shielded. These types of environments would have large motors, generators, or high voltage lighting. Shielded twisted pairs also have an added layer of protection to significantly reduce cross talk among close by cables.
