The ADTRAN NetVanta 3140 Rackmount model is designed to be an invaluable addition to any small-to-medium sized business network. This fixed-port router has three Gigabit Ethernet interfaces which can each be individually configured to be WAN- or LAN-facing. This gives the NetVanta 3140 unprecedented flexibility in a fast-changing network environment.

The NetVanta 3140 is excellent for converged access, high-quality VoIP, and supporting carrier-bundled service offerings. However, due to its easy re-configurability, it can just as easily support side-by-side separate voice/data networks, or simply act as a backup broadband access method. The USB port can also be tethered to a 3G/4G access point for emergency backup access in case of ISP outages.

On top of that, it also integrates an on-board firewall, multiple hardware optimization systems, and a wireless access controller.
