MS450 Switches
Designed for the largest of networks and the most demanding of data needs, the Meraki MS450-12 is one of the most powerful aggregation switches currently on the market. Built for intensive data needs, the Meraki MS450 features two 100 Gigabit QSFP28 uplink ports, alongside twelve 40Gb QSFP+ ports. It is intended to host up to twelve MS355 or similar managed switches for large networks. It also features two additional 100Gb stacking ports, for further bandwidth expansion as needed - up to 400Gbps of bandwidth, and a total of 1.35Tbps of switching capacity.
Yet it still fits into a single standard 1RU rack space.
The MS450 is also built for long-term reliability. It features support for field-replaceable redundant power supplies and fans. Purchase and licensing also brings a lifetime hardware warranty and advanced replacement, at no additional charge.
Security is another priority for the MS450, with IEEE 802.1X, MAB, and Hybrid authentication support, along with RADIUS server monitoring. It has full ACL support, as well as built-in MAC whitelisting, and Dynamic ARP inspection to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. Detailed snooping features allow further oversight and analysis of traffic.
However, as with all Meraki devices, the MS450 remains easy to manage. All configuration and oversight is handled by the Meraki Dashboard, a single-pane-of-glass interface. The Dashboards gives at-a-glance views of an entire network, no matter how large, or allows admins to drill down to the level of individual devices for custom configuration or security profiling - no matter whether they're in the same building, or on the other side of the world.
