The ADTRAN NetVanta 5660 (47005660F1#25) is a full-featured carrier services router, showcasing ADTRAN's skill at integrating functions into a single all-in-one box. The 5660 can replace several specialty devices, allowing affordable carrier service options for smaller or niche service providers.

This can function equally well as an Ethernet Gateway or IP Router, featuring WAN-side SHDSL capacity and four combo Gigabit Fiber\Ethernet ports, plus an additional dedicated fiber line. All Ethernet ports include full carrier functionality, and the device has been certified by the Metro Ethernet Forum as fully compliant for MAN deployments. It is fully compatible with any combination of L2/L3 networks, making it an effective convergence device. Smart line detection services make setup and reconfiguration simple.

Additionally, the NetVanta 5660 includes an onboard stateful firewall with Denial-of-Service protections, as well as a full-featured Session Border Controller with support for twenty-five simultaneous SIP connections. Integrated Quality-of-Service features guarantee superior VoIP service, while the proprietary RapidRoute technology optimizes packet routing services.

Unified edge security ensure your borders are protected, and it also has smart failover options to guarantee uptime - a must-have for carrier services.
